A timeless conical form reimagined for modern luxury glamping
Concept & Structure
This architectural concept represents a low-rise micro-dwelling or luxury glamping unit rather than a high-rise structure. With a 20-foot internal height, the design blends the ancestral Teepee form with a modern linear extension, creating a hybrid geometry that balances tradition with contemporary spatial needs.
The primary design concept is the intersection of two distinct geometries: a hexagonal pyramid and a rectangular prism.
The floor plan follows a pod-living strategy where every square foot is optimized for function.
Window placement follows the angular logic of the structure and enhances experiential quality.
| Feature | Design Intent |
|---|---|
| Hexagonal Base | Maximizes internal volume relative to wall surface |
| Stilts / Piers | Minimal site disturbance and floating aesthetic |
| Pitched A-Frame Roof | Efficient rain and snow shedding with high ceilings |
| Triangular Glazing | Maintains sharp visual language and controlled daylight |
